Lethe: LIMITED RELEASE OUT NOW
Lethe is officially available for download at elitefitrea.com! (If, for some reason, you really want to download it for a few dollars more at bandcamp, you can do that as well.)
Streaming and previewing are not available until the album goes up on Spotify & other streaming platforms. So buy the album on complete faith right now!
NOTE: Some people have experienced problems downloading the album to their phones — unfortunately most phones don’t know how to handle basic mp3 or wav files or play them like normal computers do. This is an annoying part of a design philosophy by the manufacturers. Rest assured, once the album is available for streaming, there will be many convenient options for enjoying the album with your phone. In the meanwhile, enjoy them on your computer, on a USB stick, or burn them to a CD.
VIDEO ANNOUNCEMENTS
As anticipated, the music video for The Center is behind schedule, as well as the deluxe multimedia album format envisioned in the last blog post. However, I was able to borrow a fancy $2,000 camera from a friend of mine for the last month or so, and I have lots of great video for the multimedia project. Between moving cities and the holidays, plus some personal life stuff, I’m a little behind and have my work cut out for me. But I’m habit driven, so it’ll get done.
I also have some interviews under my belt including one with Denver people from a project called Putrefaction (it has since morphed, I am given to understand), and I even talked to Jonathan Pageau about the album. That’s right, the icon-carving, orthodox symbolism guy has heard the album—and he’s even said all the symbolism is on point and makes perfect sense. There you go! I recorded most of it and just need to sync the audio and video I captured.
Some extra music video projects are in the works as well, such as for the basement jams Chris and I did in the last few months. Everything will go up on the YouTube channel so subscribe to it and stay tuned.
Basement Jams: NON
Speaking of, there’s some bonus material on the bandcamp page. Chris and I recorded a few basement, bootleg-style songs, and I took some footage of that as well. One of them is a recording we did at Bent County, shortly before I was moved to a minimum facility. It was recorded in a side room in the gym with a classical guitar, a piezo microphone, and a casio keyboard—I am not joking!
So check it out. I think I wrote about this album before in a previous blog post. It’s finished! Go buy it. It’s cheap as hell, and the covers are all free, for crying out loud.
2020 Goals
Goals for 2020 are basically:
play shows
do interviews
So if you’re interested in putting on a show or interviewing with myself, put something in the contact form and I’ll get back to you.
That’s all for now!
